April 14, 2015 CTA Proposal

April 14, 2015 CTA Proposal documents:

Instructions on How to Read the Proposed New Fractionalized Salary Schedule

1. The first column gives the current salary step level.

2. The second column gives the current salary schedule.

3. The third column gives the new increased salary schedule (2014-15 school year) and the salary increments in 3rds.  This equals placement on the new Fractionalized Schedule (placement was made as close as possible to the current salary) plus one level movement (3/3rds).  This is how the new salary was developed.

4. The fourth column gives the salary and increment level by letter and number.

5. The fifth column gives the proposed teacher salary increase amount.

6. The sixth column gives the number of teachers currently at the given salary level.

7. The last column gives the cost to move all teachers to the new salary level.

To Determine Your Proposed Salary
1.  Download the salary schedule document to your computer.
2. Open the document.
3. Find your current salary.
4. Follow the arrow across to the next column.
5. Your new proposed salary should be in the same color as your current salary to be correct.
6. This is your proposed salary schedule for this round of negotiations.
7. The salary schedule will only print correctly if printed from a saved document, not directly from email.

This is just a proposal!

Example #1
Current Salary - $45,000    New Salary - $46, 293

Example #2
Current Salary - $49,670    New Salary - $51,012
